課程概述 |
Human-Computer Interaction is a critical and almost ubiquitous process that impacts our daily activities and changes the way we experience the world, social relationships, and our lives. It is concerned with optimizing the interaction between human users and computer systems. This course focuses on specific HCI-related topics and prepares and help the students develop projects of their own interests. |

課程目標 |
This course aims to deepen the students’ understanding of human-computer interaction and cultivate their abilities to discover, evaluate, and critique research and designs related to HCI and social computing. |

課程要求 |
Each student is expected to prepare four presentations in their fields of interest. Each presentation should consist of at least two papers that center on the topic. During the presentation, the students are expected to (1) introduce the background of the topic, the motivation for the specific studies, and the method, (2) critique the results as well as other parts of the paper, and (3) prepare questions and lead the discussion. |
